I think I have a jewelry crush... Lauren Haupt and her etsy shop locallibrary.

As soon as I saw Lauren's Tiny Wing collection, I shouted to Mark, "I would love to have one of these necklaces for my birthday!". I'm such a subtle hinter. Made of wood and slightly bird themed...pretty much the perfect jewelry for me.





I did get my birthday necklace from Mark and then I picked up a little black one for myself. And then I bought a necklace as a birthday gift for a friend. I about fell out of bed yesterday morning when I saw one of these commercials. I'm only Greek by marriage however Mark's Yia Yia was a lot like this. These ads are hilariously realistic. I heard today that these commecials are being pulled. Ah well, we thought they were funny and all the other Greeks we know thought so too.

what if...

...my soon to be new laundry room could look like this! Ok, I'd settle for half as good as this. I'm hoping for white cabinets and white countertops however reality is that we will end up using whatever we find in the "as is" section of Ikea and other random super discounted items. I never know exactly what our finished rooms are going to look like. We always plan the basic concept of the space and how we need it to function. Then we just roll with what we can get our hands on. I'm sure in the end, my new laundry room will have wood cabinets and orange countertops or something else completely different from the room pictured above... and definitely without that zen lantern or whatever that is parked on the floor in the corner. Stupid lantern, don't you know that's where the piles of dirty clothes go?
