iris germanica orange harvest

On Sunday when I was buying my sun sugar tomato plants, I saw this awesome orange iris at the garden center. I couldn't stop thinking about it so I woke up early on Thursday morning and drove back to get it. I had iris obsession!

take a photo

Grab your camera and take a picture of something alive. Anything living. In color, black and white, you decide. Email your photo to me (beth.demakas@gmail.com) by May 20th and I'll post them here on May 21st. I expect all my friends reading to participate as I know how creative you are and that you all take such great photos! I can't wait to see everyone's take on something alive!

This print of vintage cameras is available here

When you email your photo, let me know how you want to be listed (first name, initials, as your blog title) and also tell me if you want a link to your blog posted as well.

the perfect morning to be outside

I wish every morning could be like yesterday. The sunlight was perfect and I wanted to photogragh everything...and I kind of did.
