This side of the pool is pretty much exactly the same as last year. Here it is in July 2010.

The tiki corner (as it has become know as) with the fire pit/umbrella table was Mark's summer project of 2009. The bamboo screened off corner is where all the inflatable pool toys get hidden away.

  1. Looks so great!!!! Did you cast the circles yourself or buy them....ever since I saw Jenn Ski's pavers I've thought of doing something like that here...it really is quite an impact...must be so nice to chill by the pool now..

  2. We bought them... this was too big of a project to add making round pavers to the list (trust me - we did think about it). They are definitely my favorite part of the patio make-over. We were able to buy them in various sizes at a few different stores. Luckily the smallest sized ones were only $1 a piece. A few years ago I put in 15 round pavers by the raised garden. We added 50 more this year!! Jenn Ski's pavers do look fantastic. It would be cool to have some really big ones.
